People from North Kurdistan are continuing to flock to the Kobanê border of Rojava in solidarity with the people of the canton who are under attack from ISIS gangs.
YPG Press Centre said their forces have inflicted a heavy blow on ISIS gangs in the last five days of fierce clashes, killing 86 gang members, destroying five vehicles and seizing large quantities of ammunition.
PYD Co-President Salih Muslim said Kobanê was involved in a great resistance to the attacks of ISIS gangs, adding: "whoever is going to do something for Kobanê should do it now".
Residents in the villages of Tel Hamis, that have been taken from ISIS by YPG forces, have talked about the savagery perpetrated by the ISIS gangs.
The attacks launched by the ISIS terror organisation on the canton of Kobanê in Rojava (West Kurdistan) on 15 September and the resistance of the YPG are continuing.
'Barajarock’ Hasankeyf Solidarity Camp begins
The 'Barajarock' Solidarity Camp has been organised by the Hasankeyf Initiative against the Ilisu Dam that will submerge the 12,000-year-old town of Hasankeyf.
